Award-winning senior social and digital news producer, specialising in executing digital-media-led strategies for broadcast news.

Currently, as the Digital Executive Producer at WACH in South Carolina, I developed a data-driven content strategy that drove a 223.7% increase in audience growth by expanding local news coverage to engage a national audience. I also helped launch the station’s first sports podcast, South Carolina Sideline. In August, our team was honored with the South Carolina Broadcasters Association’s 2025 Award for Best Use of Digital.

Formerly, the Deputy Editor of Social Media for 10 News (Paramount ANZ) in Australia, where I lead a team of social media producers and freelancers nationally. I worked in conjunction with the 10 News broadcast team to execute results-driven content across both legacy and emerging platforms in a top-three market.

In my journalism practice, my main area of focus is hard news, politics, technology, and human interest profiles. I also lead breaking news coverage across the 24-hour news cycle.

As a senior researcher, I also specialise in the spread of disinformation and conspiracy theories on social media and alternative news media. Having completed a dissertation titled “Disinformation in the media during crises: How COVID-19 has affected the media landscape,” which looked at the societal and political implications of COVID-19 disinformation in the media. This work was recognised with the Vice Chancellor's Dux Award from Bond University, where I graduated with the highest GPA across all disciplines. You can find a breakdown of my dissertation and research here.

I have completed a Bachelor of Journalism and Master of Communication, where I graduated with the highest honours.
